‘Present Yourself’ and ‘Promote Yourself’. These are the powerful slogans for the next Expo Reclam show, which will be held at Ifema, 14–16 February 2012. The new slogans are part of a new image for this major professional advertising and promotional gift trade show.
The Expo Reclam international trade show, organised by Reed Exhibitions Iberia, offers industry professionals the opportunity to view and present the latest from the corporate gift sector in 6,000 net m2 of exhibition space. Expo Reclam is a professional event which attracts 90% of Spanish advertising and promotional gift suppliers.
The organisers have already released space reservation information. To date, 160 companies have confirmed their attendance at the next edition in February, a very positive number considering that the show's marketing campaign only began in mid-September. Expo Reclam thus confirms its leadership in Southern Europe and its position as the main event for the promotional and advertising market in Spain.
Expo Reclam is attended by exhibitor companies representing the full range of promotional items on the market: textiles, food items, stationery products, house wares, leisure articles, machines and Christmas items, among others.
Expo Reclam 2012 will allow attendees to gauge the situation in the sector and pave the way for the current year, with sights set on the important summer campaign. Many companies release their catalogues to coincide with ER12, and some will introduce new products presented only a few days earlier at the PSI Düsseldorf show.
Visitor registration is now open
Registration opened on 18 October, offering visitors easy, convenient access to the February show without having to queue. Registration is completely free and for visitors who have attended previous editions of the show, the process is simplified by a CRP (Preferred Registration Code) sent out by the organisers.
The visitor profile is limited to professional brokers of promotional items: promotional gift dealers, advertising agencies, and graphic designers, among others.
New exhibitor portal
Expo Reclam has also set up an attractive new exhibitor portal. This is a complete interactive list of all the companies at the trade show. Companies can use this new space to promote their products and meet professionals who are interested in the products advertised. The new platform will be available shortly.
The online options for ER12 do not end there. Expo Reclam remains committed to new methods of communication. Proof of this is the Twitter channel @exporeclam, as well as the group created on LinkedIn to discuss current topics related to the world of promotional gifts.
ER12 services
As usual, in addition to the stands for exhibitor companies, Expo Reclam will feature a wide range of services, including an area with free Internet access, promo bag distribution and package shipping through Envialia at very special rates. Visitors can also enjoy a special issue of Publicidad & Promoción magazine.
There will be an area for demonstrating different marking techniques and a priority area for the industry associations Fyvar (Spanish acronym for the Association of Advertising Item Manufacturers and Vendors) and Aimfap (Spanish acronym for the Association of Promotional Item Importers, Wholesalers and Manufacturers). In addition, managers or owners of Fyvar member companies will receive a VIP pass provided by the association.
Also returning will be the Green Point Area, a stand devoted to organic and eco-friendly products, and the Primer Paso (First Step) Area, intended for exhibitors taking part in Expo Reclam for the first time. Attendees will have a number of dining options at Ifema, especially the main restaurant in Exhibition Hall 4 at the Juan Carlos I, Feria de Madrid Exhibition Centre.
The major trade show event for the industry
With 23 editions behind it, Expo Reclam has established itself as the second most important trade fair for the advertising and promotional gift sector in Europe, after PSI Düsseldorf. The last edition of Expo Reclam featured 229 exhibitor companies and was attended by 7,433 industry professionals.
